Have I missed something? The bell housing doesn't need changing when going from pushrod 12v v6 to 24v v6. Or is the s3 different, I haven't seen one

I have a brand new T5 to V6 Cozzy bell housing made by Advanced Adapters that is spare if you are interested. You will only need to fabricate a gearbox bracket (flat plate) and it all drops in nicely.

Its definately the way forward, especially if it's 4.0L !!

Call me if you need any info/help

I paid £350 for it, had it shipped direct from the manufacturers in the USA.

Give me a call, and we can discuss price/shipping etc.

Is it to mate the yank t5 or a UK t5? I have US bell housings already for the US box. I suspect the UK box has a shorter input shaft in which case I can make a 10mm thick plate and a shaft extender. Flowtech used to provide a UK bell housing that worked as is iirc. I really want a solution which doesn't need mods.

It was made to bolt a (my) Griffith T5 to a 2.9 cosworth block. No mods are needed, the input shaft should be a perfect fit.

As I am using a 4.0L block, same bolt pattern as 2.9, but I have had a steel flywheel made and it ends up slightly different to the original, so I have had another bellhousing made which arrived the other day

It uses a concentric clutch bearing (Demon Tweeks) or easily modified to accept original slave cylinder, (concentric is better, much neater than the original fit)

Thanks for the information. One last thing, do you happen to know if your t5 shaft is the same length as a sierra t5 shaft. Or, do you know how long the input shaft of the griff box is? Then I can compare.Thanks.

not sure about the Sierra shaft, but the bellhousing is designed fot a T5 only, not a Ford box. If you are going the Cozzy route, I wouldn't entertain an MT75, it's just not up to the job.

I will measure the T5 input shaft tomorrow if it helps.

From the box mating face to the end of the input shaft is 180mm. I think this is standard Griff/Chimp measurements.

Hope this is the info you need.
