Just looked on Autotrader, keeping an eye on the GT3 market. Only saw one genuine Mk1 on there - and that had comfort seats....

..seems like supply is low.

There do seem to be a lot of people round here snapped them up recently, so not surprised there are not many left

i think there is a certain seasonality to pricing/ availability...wait until the summer and trackday season is over and there may be a few more around.

I've read all the threads Gen , The car's logbook sounds very vague on it being a 2 or a 2+2 , I could see the insurance company wriggling like hell if the worst was to happen....

That's what puts me off.

However if someone had the definitive word on rear seats being no problem, it would certainly get my mind racing... and hopefully my arse wouldn't be too far behind!!....................................

TT?

I need the bigger boot 2WD provides, prefer the narrow body look anyway.

No good for me either , I'm living in 95 ron-land! .. Can't get super and I hear a turbos life expectancy is shortened by the hotter gases from the 95 spinning it up ... Also need as much boot space as possible .. I need to bring an overnight bag to work quite often.

Anyone know of someone going around with a 4 seater GT3??

I'll bet there would be a load of snobbishness and detractors 'pooh poohing' having a baby seat in the back of your GT ..

.. Makes me want one even more ..

One less on the market now aswell if all things go well

Hopefully going to become the owner of the last Mk1 GT3 ever built!!!

Watch the values plumet as soon as I take ownership - I have that effect on cars sometimes...

Anyway - as for four seats in a GT3 - sacrilege!! All that extra weight - I can't bear thinking about it! You'll never catch me considering carrying anything other than the bare minimum inside my new car - I'm getting a tow-bar fitted instead

The GT3 uses the 4wd chassis, so you get the same size boot as the TT

Didn't realise that.

Thought this was the case.

Not seen under the front end of a GT3, but surely on a TT, the front differential for the 4WD nicks most of the boot space?
