Maybe, had a little run around for work for a while now and thinking of getting a toy in next month or so. Fancy either a 355 or sag but sightly worried but the possibily of huge running costs.

I'd would wait until the new model is revealed at the motor show before parting with you money. Been told by dealer TVR think its the best car they've ever made !

I don't know ! Was at Gatwick TVR about 3 months ago asking if theres ever going to be a cerbra replacement. Apparently there was a big meeting of main dealers around that time at the factory. The new car was already built & ready weeks before that, but none of the dealers were allowed to see it, for what reason I don't know.
Might just be TVR propergander, but they are very excited & happy about it ??????
That why I booked my Motorshow tickets weeks ago, hope its as good as I was told.

I'm currently running a Cerb 4.5 and have also been thinking about a F355 or a Sagaris. Also thought about a 996 TT, but that was dismissed, as although a fabulous piece of kit, it's just a little too refined for my taste.

Recently drove both the F355 (Spyder) and also a Sag. F355 - what a noise and it is still such an achingly beautiful car. But I have to say that the Sagaris totally destroyed the Fezza for sheer driving thrills and it really is a very accomplished car - it is actually quite an improvement on my Cerb (IMHO). It just felt like the more modern machine that it is.

As for running costs, the F355 isn't quite as scary as you might think - there are lots of specialists like Verdi and Rosso Corsa who do annual services for about £700. Which is about Cerb territory. So not toooo bad.

However, the Sag has got my vote and I'll be reaching for the cheque book shortly. When she who must be obeyed is looking the other way..

Bit of a love hate relationship really as with most TVRs I guess.
But I think its brilliant.
LOVE the sound, dynamics, engine (dispite the rumours)the individuality & styling.
HATE all the little niggles Ive had with it, that really should have been pick up with a decent factory quality control department or the dealer
I have tested the Sagaris and it has a wider wheel track and does handle better, it not such a harsh a ride as the T350. It also has more low down torque and grunt, I just don't like the add on styling of the Sagaris.
BUT I must say before I get down for posting a negative comment, its only my first TVR and there are many more experienced & knowledgeable owner in here than me, that could probably give you more insite into TVR ownership.

Read my autojournals entry on running the Sagaris. Second half goes up next week. No punches pulled and different to anything any of the professional jounrnalists have ever written...mostly because they never spent a decent amount of time with the car.

As a one time 355 owner I'd say don't listen to anyone who tells you they aren't expensive to run. Cambelt changes (needed every three years) are an engine out job and so incur huge labour costs. Often people sell their cars before this is due in order to avoid it.

And don't listen to anyone who tells you they're fast either. Compared to the Sagaris, they really aren't. Italian horses tend to be shetland ponies and they are quite heavy cars. They do sound good though unlike the laughably contrived 360 Modena (my personal most loathed car ever made).

And they don't handle as well either. And mine was brand new and the throttle stuck wide open on me in wales after only 3,000 miles, among other problems. Luckily the car was so slow it wasn't as scary as it could have been but I lost all confidence in it after that.

The Sagaris has been less trouble and a lot more fun.
