i've just been in my local asda to change my hard earned dosh for that euro monopoly money stuff and i got an exchange rate of 1.36 i didn't take much notice until i got home and looked up last years exchange rate for june and you got 1.55 so it seems our plastic pint of stella is going to cost a little extra this year sorry to sound boring but when it comes to paying for beer i suddenly become gordon bloody brown

Believe it or not, Try Marks and spencer money exchange. Been the best rates for us for years.

I use Post Office. Ok you have to mix it with the chavs
and the grannies, but good rates.

I got 1.41 last week. 1.36 sounds expensive.

hi mike good to hear from you looking forward to seeing you and des i'll bring a rucksack full of fags won,t make the mistake of presuming they sell em at the curcuit again is des bringing the beach buggy down or are you 2 driving down in the chim

I always use www.travelex.co.uk/personal/default.asp great rate ( 1.41 today) pay on line and collect at airport and or Dover.

Best thing to do is use your cash card at the cash points in France.The rate is always better!You will be clobbered on credit cards though...

Marks and Sparks are doing 1.41 at the moment, next day delivery via Special Delivery, if ordered Monday by 1pm should be with you on Tuesday.

anyway its only 2 euros a pint inside the village still cheaper than your average brit tippple well it was last year our first encounter with a french barman was memorable 4 pints for 2 euros he was definatly drunker than we were we explaned that we only asked for 2 pints and he said what can't you drink 4 we didn't argue just toasted him and grinned bring on 2006
