Recall

I have just been told that the supplying dealer has the parts in for my recall, but they think it is for 'seat springs'??

I thought it was side airbag related recall, can anybody advise??

They are saying half an hour, while I wait....i am confused

It relates to the side airbags, but the mod is to add a seat spring to earth a potential static charge. I think!!

Had mine done on Monday and it took about 40 minutes

Had mine done this morning, about 40 minutes. So Slaters did good.

Dunno what you lot are on about. Phoned my local dealer, was told that it was a camchain recall. Told him it was for an earthstrap for the airbags, well twice actually. He told me for the third time it was for a camchain recall. Guess I have the only double overhead camshaft Monaro in GB. Obviously why silver is the quickest colour then......
On a serious note, the window switches have fallen out into the gearbox tunnel. Compared with any other car I have had, mine need a lot of pushing down - the car has only done 3700 miles. Has anyone else had this problem? Also when he asked my reg no, I told him R11 JPJ, he queried it's age for warranty! Did we have British Monaros in 1997? Are they really looking after my pride and joy?
