Water actually inside the bootlid

Hi all, looking for advice again.

I appear to have water trapped actually INSIDE the Chimaera's bootlid; I can hear it sloshing around when I open the boot. Very annoying! Anyone have any idea (1) how to get it out and (2) how to stop it getting in again. I seem to remember a similar post on the Griffith forum some time ago but I've not been able to find it.

Aren't the Chimeara boot hinges on the top ? If that's where it's getting in you might find some vaseline around the bolts /washers may help, it being a natural water repellent. (Note you are posting to the Griffith forum).
