T350T warranty

hi guys i am currently the owner of a chimaera but have just tried a T350t loved it but dealer is selling without warranty or service car has done 8200 miles on a 2004 plate and is due a service now any ideas on service costs and how i can get a warranty for this car. i would like to get at least 2 years cover as i have read about some horror stories regarding the speed six engine any advice ?

I wouldn't buy from a dealer who refused to service before sale and didn't offer a warranty - might as well save some money and buy privately IMO.

Thanks jigsty dealer is selling on as a trade sale they px it for a 355 i know the dealer and he is primarily a ferrari dealership. car is £25500 on a 2004 with 8200 miles but i do think they should at least sell with a service

If you can negotiate the right price you could come to an agreement where the dealer pays for any repairs needed at the service - which will be the £1k 12,000 miles/2 years service BTW.

I just took out the TVR approved extended warranty - covers most things, including wear and tear on parts (usual get out clause). £1347 + 3 hours labour to inspect the car (+ the cost of anything that needs fixing). Do a search on here for more info (the phrase 'wear and tear' should being up the right results).

Car price is ok but there are 2003 models as low as £20K out there. So it is cheaper than some but not 'cheap' imho.

no its not the red one. going up this morning to have another blast gonna try and get a service out of the dealer

I have just bought a T350 from a dealer, yes there are cheaper cars out there but the inspection, service and TVR warranty are worth at least £2000 if not £2500 plus the little bits you can ask to be done as part of the sale. At the end of the day i wanted the piece of mind so was prepared to pay more from a TVR dealer....still no guarantee the car is a good one.

without a warranty or a service. this seems very strong money..
I'm sure they 'paid' /valued it at a lot less for trade in.

2years warranty, unlimited claims up to £30k each claim.

11,000 miles, full service history, no rebuilds but new clutch 500 miles ago.
