One thing though ... You're going to find it difficult to get rid of the green paint on the seats

Yes, I now know how selfish that was of me, and how lucky I am to be going to Le Mans. Boy, am I gonna pay when I get back.

Don't know. Think because the cars resemble / resembled road cars, unlike the single seaters.

People 'my age' seem to appreciate the Martini stripes, and that it's just for a laugh. When I was a kid this is (very roughly) what racing Porsches looked like.
Young kids love it and shout and wave.
However the majority of people say "You've ruined that car".
