Hi!

Just to let you know I've been lurking on this group for a while now and I am very impressed at the great enthusiasm and helpfulness from everyone, compared with many BBs I've seen.

I am currently enjoying the delights of owning a Chameleon Blue Tuscan Speed 6, having had some great memories with a Starmist Griff 500 with a sports exhaust - just to make friends with the neighbours!

I hope I can offer someone the same help I have received from this board in the many months to come.

Many thanks

Andy

Welcome aboard!

Any comments on your experience moving from a very nice looking Griff to a very nice looking Tuscan?

Thank you! I loved the Griff, the noise, the torquey oversteer - certainly not for the faint-hearted in the wet. The Tuscan is more refined, more forgiving, jaw-droppingly good to drive in town and less of a weekend car. I use it every day for instance whereas driving the Griff in the wet was best left to better drivers than me!

I think my better half sums up the experience: she says the Tuscan feels like a proper car compared with the Griff - she was terrified in that but I think she secretly likes the attention we get in the Tuscan!!

Thanks everyone - I indicated the existence of this thread to "Mrs Beano" who has just replied:

OK, OK - our second TVR will be a Tuscan ...!

I trust this means that I can become a two TVR household!

That was easy!

(Just need the dosh, now!!!)

Hello

Fancy defecting from the Griff camp....

Mind you if someone said I had to buy a Tuscan I don't think the arm would need to get too far up the back.

Cheers

Welcome to the asylum.... Nice video and just love the sports exhaust on the Griff... would love to do that to mine, but just know that the trackdays that I want to do I cant!! Still, always wondered what the underneath of a Tuscan looked like!

Cheers,

Paul

Hello Andy,

Splendid looking motor. Hope to see you 'thraping' about in at at some time.

Excellent Vid. Nice road for it as well.

(being ccheeky - Nirvana is great - but not as nice as the sound of those TVR's - particularly that T350C).

Are you going to VW on Sunday?

Hi Andy and welcome.

Nice video - glad I have ISDN at work as a 56k dialup would have taken ages to download 5.5.Megs !!
