Hi guys

I'm wanting to change the mirrors on my Ariel Atom from the flat type to convex so I can get rid of that blind spot! As I'm harnessed in the car, I can't turn around.

You can see the type of mirror on the Atom here www.arielmotor.co.uk/

A shop near Cardiff would be best.

I went and looked through the stick-on replacement mirror glasses in Half-rods until I found some of a shape I liked, and stuck them on top of the existing mirrors.

I'm afraid 'stick-ons' don't work on the Atom, the vibrations just shakes them to destruction!

How about turning your head - a shoulder check?

Wish it was that simple! With a full harness pinning both shoulders back into the seat you simply can't ruen that far! Believe me, I've tried

Was the right answer

I've had a google too and can't see anything suitable...

Would the sticky pad used to attach a rear view mirror be stronger?

The sticky pads on the Half-rods glasses are incredibly strong, so I'd guess not...

Thing is, I know the convex mirrors exist so shouldn't need to stick anything on.

The Atom vibrates big time. It's reduce several TomTom devices to bits, ruined LCD clocks and mp3 players. My fillings have dropped out and my dentures are history

Bloody hell - it the suspension not too stiff? If it's that stiff (ooo-errr missus ) then you must spend most of the time with the wheels skipping over potholes etc
