Our party is thinking of leaving after the race and staying in one near the ferry port, as our ferry leaves Monday morning. Anyone used one of these? Did you book online in advance or just turn up?

cheers

I have been in that type of hotel before. I am not sure whether or not you can book, but I know that you can turn up at any time and get in with a credit card as they are unmanned. Even if they are full, there will always be another one close by...

If you just want a bed then they are fine, however I will never ever be staying in one again... just too damn scared by the self cleaning showers and toilets trying to clean themselves with me inside the one and only time I stayed in one!

Sounds ammusing

Hey, after camping for four days, any bed will seem luxorious! Just want somewhere to freshen up before the trip home and to take the pressure off having to get to the ferry port on time
