Has anyone ever used a 220v kettle plugged in a cigarette lighter adapter thingy? How many hours does it take to boil? There is no way I'm going the whole week-end without tea...

From Lipton about tea - "And in hot weather, it seems refreshing. This may be because it can raise your body temperature and momentarily cause an increase in perspiration, which cools the skin."

Take an oxcetelene torch and make your brew like the mechanic used to in the 'Love Bug'

Just remember to take tea with you - bit like bacon (the French just don't GET bacon).

As I recall French milk is "proper", at least it has been the few times I've had coffee at the Houx cafe.

You realise that everyone else probably doesn't namby pamby their citizens with all the rubbish and preservatives they put in our milk these days, so their milk is more likely the "proper" stuff!
