It would be great to transfer my records to Mp3 but once I have done that I'll have no more use for it. So How about I buy one new and then sell it to the next person for a tenner less than I pay for it. They can then sell it on for a tenner less and so on. In the end all it costs you a tenner. Eventually it will die but not before a few people make a tenner.

Anyone got one they want to sell?

If not anyone want to buy a share of one?

These things automatically seperate the tracks, have EQ stuff to clean up tracks and will do it at higher speeds (like you used to when copying tapes)

Also I don't have a record player anymore, and don't really wnat to buy one that I will only use once.

Why not just use a normal record deck and a line level amp into the soundcard mic input?

I'd be interested to see how much they are.

You can get a multitude of software that will clean up vinyl output before encoding.

If it's that easy, I'd give it a go.

Apparently there is one by Ion, it looks remarkable similar. (probable rebaged)

They go for about £119 on the internet, a local DJ shop is selling them for £149. (he refuses to rent them as "he is selling 1000 a month" and "these are the the last ones in the country"

That deck looks too nasty for words. When I transfer my records I'll play them on a deck that'll make a half reasonable attempt at doing so, into a A to D that'll get a fair number of the bits right.

You're only going to transfer them once, so you may as well make a good go of it I say.

I've seen Dual CS505's go for £40 on eBay.
