Picked up my Cerb now need a child seat

Having looked at posts on here it seems the one to go for is the 'Recaro Start' can anyone confirm this fits without having a bar fitted in the back? Has anyone had the bar fitted that could give me more information about it? Its to go in a 99 speed 6 that i just picked up today. Will miss the Chimaera for roof off action but loved the drive home in the new beast. Any help will be greatly appreciated as halfrauds and mothercare were not particularly helpful =(

Looks nice but don't you need the bar fitted for this? What age can it be used from (or weight)?

Has anyone ever had this bar fitted?

Recaro Start in the back of mine with no bar fitted, think this seat is recommended because it is one of the few that goes in ok without the bar. If you have the bar fitted then I believe it opens up a whole lot of other choices as it is the seat squab shortness that is the real problem. Only person I have met who has the bar is whatever, had a gander at it on the Cerb Rolling Road day, think he said that it was fitted when he got the car though.

Recaro start does fit the cerb - although its a bit of a squeeze. your child needs to be 9 months (roughly) and be forward facing.

If he or she is less than 15kgs you will need the impact cushion as well.

I have a Pucker TVR Child seat, but also have the proper fixings in the floor and the Centre of the car. Mine has previously been for sale here, but now I fit it when I go to shows - not too sure if I'd put my 15yr old (youngest child) in it!!
As with all TVR products - design is superb, talk with TT Tim JIC it fits your car!
