New VW owner needs advice

Hi chaps,

Just picked up my New bit of fun. I went for a Mk 3 VR6 in mnt condition with full VW service history. Its completely un modified but i would like to upgrade the suspension.

ANy suggestions?

Or any other suggestions to get more fun for my money with this car.

Loads of threads been done on here & gen gassing forum on just this subject, have a play with the search function using various keywords- vr6, golf suspension, mk3 etc etc & will be tons of threads for ya.

But yes stock suspension needs throwing in the bin, its woeful.

How much do you have to spend and what do you use the car for?

MK3s all need polybushing with decent coilovers.

Schrick manifold works MAGIC on the CR.

Tubular manifold and zorst.

Remap.

Full and accurate 4 wheel alignment

That'll see you 200+ BHP, much improved handling and a sound like nothing else. And a hole in your pocket where 4k used to be.
