Am just planning my europe jaunt in July and wondered if there were any bits/parts I should purchase before i go.

I was thinking i could buy a spare water temp sensor (I have gone through 3 now!) and could get someone else to fit should things go wrong with that. Spare fuses I guess....any other bits to consider?

Its funny you should say this, but I have a list of spares I am putting together plus some tools and some relevant instructions. I will try and get a list together this week. I will add water sensors to the list and see if I can get the training! So far I have been trained in throttle cable replacement and other things e.g fuse replacement.

The big 100A fuse for the battery/alternator link and the 80A fuse (I think) for the PAS. Some cable ties, some normal fuses, duct tape, simple screwdrivers and basic sockets. Decent breakdown cover.

Enjoy those roads

Spare bulbs, high vis jackets, hazard triangle, both parts of driving license, v5 and insurance docs. Have to have these with you by law when driving in europe. Enjoy

Although none of the above are purely relavent to a TVR (just read other posts)

Thanks guys. And Maddog, that sounds like a very useful document - should you put it together would be grateful if I could have a copy!

Cheers all
