Can anyone list some good web based proxies that I can get in under websense please.
I found a few, but within a day or so they get blocked

Can you not leave a PC on at home and just Remote desktop to that.. no need for any proxies then..

By using proxies, which they then ban repeatedly, you may open yourself to a work disciplinary

hmmm, one wonders at some of the ethical and legal implications of doing this. Hard to prove what content was being viewed, I wonder if anyone has managed to sniff and then replay such a session to prove that something illicit was being viewed....

I used thecloak.com (or .net , can't remember) when i was on a university connection.
I would be VERY careful doing it at work though, we've fired people for this kind of thing. I use a remote desktop connection to my home PC, as it uses hardly any bandwidth and isn't traceable, hence far less likely to annoy governance people. It might not like a proxy though. www.gotomypc.com is a more robust proxy friendly version of the same thing, but costs more than nothing.

VPN to your home connection, even easier, or SSH tunnel for those with the knowhow, eitherway, proxy surfing will lead you into strife with the IT Dept

I agree with earlier posts as regards proxies - I'd personally use an SSL-VPN connection to my home PC.

Luckily(?) for me, it's my job to maintain our systems - so whilst everyone else goes through a caching proxy server which can be monitored, I give myself sneaky direct access through the firewall. For testing you understand, in case the proxy goes down or something.
