Driving the Alps last year. Words will never sum up what a kick that was: two TVRs (Tamora & Tuscan), near deserted Alpine roads, stunning vistas and the sound of two Speed 6 engines with valves open (within safe limits obviously).
Think: start of the 'italian job' x 2.
Many nice comments & conversations with people who want to talk about the car when you are out an about. Even a trip to the supermarket can have a social side to it.
Top comment: whilst leaving one of the car parks in Canary Wharf in my old Tuscan, I heard a kid shout out ' WOW - TVR! '.... whilst leaning out of the window of his dads 996. Dad looking very unimpressed at the time.

360 spider owner pulls alongside, and tells me, he wishes his ferrari sounded as good as my TVR.
Bringing a french town to a standstill whilst touring northern france.
Getting voted loudest and nicest car on Furball5000 2005 outing.
But the best moment for me, is everytime I slip behind the wheel, start the engine and go for a drive. No matter how bad your day is, thinks always feel better after you go for a nice drive.

Ding! Not long ago I had 3 different groups of people come up to me as I parked it up - one was very enthusiastic so I even opened it up and started the car (don't need much of an excuse
) And then of course I'll never forget the group of drunken cheerleaders that accosted me at some traffic lights

Came out of the services before the bridge at the front of our convoy and took a wrong turn so ended up going back into the services. Came out and was now playing catch up to two cars that were both trying to catch up with me in front of them. Probably - but I wasn't entirely sure they hadn't followed me round the services again.
Saw the other Tam about five cars in front leaving a Payage so then engaged proper catching up them catching me up pace. Caught up with them both in the middle of the bridge at 220kph.

. He is somewhat bigger than I am. It certainly puts the dampers on owning a TVR in my street
. I may consider selling the TVR if I continue to be threatened/annoyed by this idiot

off.Please don’t succumb to this maniac’s prejudices – it is HIM that has the problem for whatever reason, and not you – if what you say is true, that is tantamount to bullying. May be an idea to confront him and bark back – no matter what size they are, bullies hate their prey fighting back, be verbally or physically, and once they realise you will not let him get away with it, he will back off, they are all the same.
Perhaps we ought to do what Maddog suggests, and have a Tam party in the street, how big’s your garden for the BBQ?
