Still look though. Bit like fat ugly birds then. Probably very good at what they do but your wouldn't want to be seen out with one.

And yes, I might have been at bit...

Sorry

It is a shame personally they don't do a different body style, one a bit less "bubbly".

I'm loathe to criticise but whilst there's no doubt Ultima have the world by the short and curlies re out and out performance I do think they seem to be bashing away at the same old drum. Ok they've got the fastest car - they've proven that enough times oevr and over again, we know and beleive it - heavens one actually overtook me in a real race - what more proof do you need? - what they now need to do is to move on and look again at the whole package; bloody fast but ugly as sin. If they could graft a more pleasing body onto that chassis then I think they'd really have the competition worrying. As it is they are sidelined as "very fast but no real (volume) sales competitor".

Every track day I have been on bar none when an Ultima is there (6 or so times) they have ran fast for 5mins and then broke down/dropped oil, etc, etc, etc

But looks are down to personal opinion aren't they. Plenty of people like them, so Ultima are just trying to reinforce the performance credentials. Personally, I think the M15 looks like Kryten's head, but plenty of others like it. There's room in the market for both and besides, who wants to drive around in the same car as everyone else? Ted & Co. don't have the same volume aspirations as Lee does, which is why they've stuck to the model of selling the cars as component builds, with a few factory built cars to keep them busy (and demand outstrips supply by a wide margin on that score - check the waiting times!!!).

In my experience, excellent. Can pootle about or go ballistic at your discretion. It can depends on what sort of spec. the motor is though.
