saw police bike on way home tonight usual white helmet, honda pan exceptional riding etc, but wnen we came to a stand still in traffic I looked down and saw the private plate PLZ followed by numbers.Its bad enough looking out for all the skoda octavia rs's (unmarked)aswell as police bikes with private plates.

the yellow stripes, blue lights and police signs should have been enough of a giveaway, no need to memorize the plate.

No they think they are posh round here and are all plain grey or red

It won't have been a police bike if it had a private plate. If it was, it may have been a demo bike for test.
I didn't think her majesty's police force were allowed to spend money on private registration plates...

there is a chap near where I live, Pan-Euro bike, marked up almost like Mr Plod but without the lights and POLICE on it. Never seen a bike get through traffic so fast!!!! Not sure ho legal it is, but I was home in half the time when I followed him

Remind's me of Pat's black mondeo from PF with the added aerials to give the initial impression of an unmarked plod car.

The way he rode was very police style and we do have alot of unmarked cars and bikes around here especially on a wednesday when there are a couple of large bike meets locally, it just seemed a bit odd
