ruffled seats?

anyone know where i can get ruffled seats (996) replaced with nice sports ones or have these altered?

sell the ruffled ones to siegfried and roy, then check dismantlers/breakers for normal leather ones in the right colour

get southbound to retrim, probably about 500-1k per seat, tho'

Unstitch them, stretch the leather out, stitch them up again - hey presto.

And you'll have enough leather left to re-trim a boxster, or make some nice gloves?

You could always put an advert in the PH classifieds for a straight swap if you prefer plain leather.

Not sure why anyone orders ruffled leather - apart from anything else it ages very badly.

Sports cars shouldn't have ruffled leather - if you're going to do it then go the whole hog and fit a shag pile carpet, soften the suspension, silence the exhaust, fit an auto 'box, get a chauffeur...
