Returned last night from a little blast from London to Milton Keynes. We left at about 3:30pm, just as it started to pour with rain. It really was bucketing it down, so much so that I had water coming from the stearing column!! With soaking jeans and shoes, I was thinking of a way to block this leak... Has anyone experience this before? Thought of tying a cloth to (not sure what the 'pole' attached to the steering wheel is called)... rack and pinion... anyway, I found that this would inhibit the steering!! So suffered in silence until the sun came out, and when it did... oh boy!! The thought of wet feet and wet jeans didn't even cross my mind!

I love my TVR!!!!

You need to get that looked at ASAP as the fuse box is above the pedals and if that gets wet you will have all sorts of problems.

It could be coming in through a poor seal on the windscreen surround and going down the back of the dashboard. I had this problem on mine on the passenger side and it wasn’t really apparent until the leather on the dash started going all wrinkly. It was a back to the factory job for a new screen and new leather. I know of another Sagaris which has also has windscreen leaks so it could be that this is a common fault

(Fall flat on my face off 'cloud 9')

Oh boy, I really didn't think the water was such a serious problem!! Well, I have left my TVR in London, and I am traveling at the moment, I won't be back in London for almost 2 months! I really should have had that looked at before I left...

I hope it isn't the windscrean, it will be a never-ending problem...

Thank you TSS for the heads up, I will have it looked at when I get back to London.

Happy motoring through the summer!!

If it is it should be OK, the factory did a very good job replacing my screen and it hasn't leaked since.
