Handling Questions

Hey!
Was just wondering about how TVR's handle.
Was talking to me dad about when he had his lotus and in comparison to Lotus's, how do TVR's handle?

(By the way i cant drive yet im only just learning, but i fell in love with TVR's when i saw a Tuscan parked down the beach a few years ago)

it all depends how you set the car up, what suspension you sue etc and what us you intend for the car. They can be very well sorted and very quick through the twisty bits if you put enough time effort and money into it. There are no electronic aids that makes it fun but difficult-but thats the whole point isnt it?

Yea, i was just wondering cause they tvr have a reputation for being abit twitchy.
although if ur a good enough driver it wouldnt matter, but i imagine the twitchyness has been exagerated by magazine's an stuff

The more power the car has, the harder it is to get it to handle well. TVRs have a lot of power, and relatively small development budgets. They do very well considering, but they arent the most forgiving cars in the world to drive. Thats part of their charm.

Ah, sounds great i want one if im ever good enough to drive them.
What are they like on the roads in terms of thier exhaughts?
There's a guy who's got a/or had a tuscan around hear (devon) and he was always having to replace his exhaughts because of them scraping on the road.
