Is my clutch on the way out
Discussion
I think my clutch is slipping. Under heavy acceleration (in 3rd and 5th), the revs rise slightly and acceleration isn't normal.
Is that definately the clutch? OR could it have anything to do with the cam shaft (which I know will need replacing soon).
BTW: 98R, 5.0 Chimaera, 45K
Cheers.

If the revs are rising faster than the car is moving forwards (and you're not wheel spinning!) its 99% likely to be clutch related.. (or you're in neutral!
)
As already said, its not really harmful but will get progressively worse and eventually get on your nerves as it will do it more frequently and easily.
