I'm tempted to have a front end respray and some other scratches on the flanks
and boot sorted. Can anyone give me an estimate of their experiences in terms
of cost involved ?

Ive been looking to do exactly the same as you V41LEY; Front end & bonnet, bits on the flanks, and a couple of bits on the outer edges of the boot lid.
I talked to the garage that does my maintance work, as they do some paint work also. He reckoned £700ish, as everything needs blending in onto other panels. He didn't actually want to do it, and suggested I take it to another local specialist paint shop if I was determined to get it done. He was of the opinion that it would just chip again, so whats the point.
I am off to see these other guys later today if I have time. I will let you know what they say. But if it is £700 / £800ish, I think I leave it through the summer and think again before it's garaged over the winter.

£800-£1000 sounds about right to me. TVR power charge £850 (+vat) for a front end job. Austec were doing a deal last summer at £650 (+vat)

Cheers
Matt

Nipped in there at lunch time. £1,000 + VAT for the lot. That includes the stuff on my previous post, plus other bits and pieces (door edges etc etc).
They are good this lot, and do a lot of fancy jobs for footballers (too much money / not enough brains), so you should be able to get it cheaper.
Either way, I think I will wait a bit!

Mine got treated to a front end respray about a year ago at my local expert bodyshop. I had the bonnet, front wings, front end, passenger door and wing mirrors done for £650 cash
It's an excellent job, and still looks stunning now, it looked like it'd been shot at before.

I have a mate of mine who has just gone self employed in the spraying business, he'll do a front end for around £450 - £500 inc VAT. He'll Also blend it in rather than some places which will spray up to a shut line. His work is top notch as he's done quite a few prestige cars. He's doing mine later on in the year when I get a chane to drop the car to him. If you want his number drop me an email.

I'm treating my cerbera to some paint this summer. I've found, by chance a sprayer who paints a lot of TVRs in the Hexham area. When I popped in the other week he had 2 TVRs on the go, one of which had very expensive looking 'twin colour' paint. He can match any colour, even mine which is a TVR 'one off' colour. Drop me a line if you require his number.

Anyone had the armorfend (sp?) or similar treatment? Considering a full respray + non-chip coating of some sort but sounds expensive
