Hi,

bought myself a nice 'old-stock' Schwantz replica Arai, but after wearing it quite a bit, the fit isn't quite snug enough. Is their any way to add extra/replacement padding to get it really snug, or am I going to have to burn another £300-400 notes!

Cheers

I am pretty sure that you can add extra internal padding. The link below talks about an Arai lid that you can remove and change the internal padding.

I have one of the older Arai Quantum 2 Schwantz helmers circa 1995 and you can buy different thickness cheekpads for a snugger fit.

i had my lid bout 6 weeks before it was startin to feel, loose. i took it back to the shop where i'd bought it from and he put bigger cheek pads in it for me AND didn't charge me any extra.
