Hello FFG,
That stuff's good but may not be flexible enough to wrap around the intake elbow properly unless you cut it into loads of small pieces when it might start to peel off. I've wrapped the whole length of my intake in ali tape which you can get from Demon Tweeks etc., essentially a tank tape-sized roll of sticky bacofoil. It's pretty durable and sticks to almost anything.
Ideal scenario is a nicely insulated duct with reflective outer, or better still a nicely insulated duct with a proper heatshield separated by an air gap. But with the manifold and cats where they are the majority of the heat is radiated (as with anything above ~200degC), so ali tape will probably do 90% of the job and a tenner gets you enough to do a whole field full of Griffs!

I used bubblewrap to cover the length of my induction tubing. I then rolled up some baking foil into strips of about 1 1/2" in width and spiraled it over the bubblewrap. The foil was held in place with dabs of superglue every few inches or so. And there you go, I've now got something that reflects radiated heat and also has an insulative air gap. It cost F/A and looks fine.
