the superdrive on my Rev A dual g5 powermac is on its way out - can't burn CDs, can't read DVDs it has burnt etc. Is it viable to replace it, I don't really want to have to get an external one if I can help it.
Will cost about £25 to replace it from Overclockers, Scan, etc.
I've just put in a new Pioneer DVR111 to replace the DVR109, which replaced the original DVR104 that came with my Aug 2004 Dualie.
ive got a dvr-106D, is that replaceable by the 111?
