Wedgers going to Goodwood 2/7/6?

Just wondering if any other wedgers were thinking of going to the breakfast meet at Goodwood on the 2nd July? The meet title is Classic British Sportscars -I'm sure the Wedges count! The SEAC is back in good form (mechanically anyway) and thought I might take along.

Not on 7/2 but I'll be there for the FEstival of Speed on the weekend.

I have been to every one so far and found them very good. We did get about 6 wedges parked up in the display area at the first one!

I intend to be there, but its only up the road from me.

After organising a whole day out (see brighton meet in the general section) and getting plenty of other Tivs to come along... I get called for the final stage of selection for my dream job. What are the chances??? GUTTED (and chuffed that I got through the interview!!)

I am still hoping that the others will still go and that the rest of the run will happen (back through Brighton) so keep your eyes and ears open!!

If we are convoying down again, please can we keep the speed down a bit!!! Not that I don't enjoy making progress mind you but warp 10 is a bit much

Yep happy to meet at McD's in Petersfield, probably need Matt Man to lead the way though, unless others know the way from there. I normally approach from a bit further north, i.e. Haslemere.
And need to be there a bit earlier than last tim :-)(say 8:30 for an 8:45 departure) as by the time I got home last time the Missus was questioning the "its just an early morning thing I'll be back way before lunch" statement... when I walked in and she was putting it in the neighbours cat...

i lead the way last time and i had wedgetable up my arse (as to say) making me go faster! (absolutly no complaints as hooning in two wedges is a hoot!)

Ill try and keep the speed down this time but happy to convoy!

Ahhh Sir Martin of Hayling, how are you sir - you know how it is (or maybe was!!!) new GF and all that - all those little explorations

Seriously though, I've been around - took the Wedge on a mini tour last month that took in Somerset, Bath and the Midlands - excellent.

Are you, and this goes for all the other Hampshire/West Sussex wedgers, planning on going to the BBWF on July 15th (you did promise no eating dodgy food this year - I want to see you in the noisiest wedge compo this year) If so maybe we can discuss convoy arrangements at Goodwood on Sunday?

Defininately there on Sunday, not sure if I will make it to Petersfield first but will try!

You have missed some developments on the old girl, you will have to wait and see on Sunday as to what I mean!

If you are coming south on the A3M there are 2 turn off's for the A272. Ignore the first one as that is the Midhurst turn off, it is the second one which goes to Langrish and eventually Winchester. As you come down the exit slip you wont fail to notice the McD's on your left hand side (probably as it will be full of wedges at the time!!!) at the end of the slip go left and left again to find your way in. If you put Petersfield into Multimap you will see what I mean about the staggered A272 junctions.

All, Can we say meet up between 8.30 and 9.00, leaving McD's promptly at 9.00 to give the stragglers (probably me included) time to get there from further afield?
