Jeff and the service crew there (and Brian of course) did a sterling job once again.

Not only did I get an Astra VXR as a loan car (Brian, that thing has surely been chipped hasn't it? It has MASSIVE power! ) I asked them to take a look at my Wortec system as it was knocking a bit on the underside of the car.

"No problem...we'll give you a new one!" says Jeff to me
"What?!!!"
"Sure, it comes with the silencing middle box or not, which do you want us to fit?"
"Errr....I'll try the loud one first"

and oh boy does it sound good.
It does drone a bit in the cabin in 6th but I may get used to it...we'll see.

I really did not expect that at all guys, thankyou so much.
Oh and the car was cleaned and valeted and the 10k service only cost me £150.

What a great place, thoroughly recommended.

FWIW I found Greens almost by accident.

I had pretty much decided to get a new 05 Monaro and had posted as such on here as a newbie.
I was probably going to go to "another dealer" and then I got an e-mail saying I could get an astounding deal on an 04 model - nearly £6000 cheaper.

So I bit Brians hand off and discovered that Greens were only a few miles further out than the original dealers.
The rest is history.

Guys, they really are worth travelling too.
You will get treated like kings and emperors - nothing is too much trouble and they also know their stuff.
I mean how many dealers even have a Monaro as a demo car...let alone a loan car!?

Seriously recommended.

Anyway, waffling caused by beer here, sorry.

I dont want to blaspheme on this forum, but as u asked, the Astra currently is totally std, aside from 19" wheels. Look better but compromise handling ever so slightly. However, it is due some fettling.......to include....remap and exhaust to circa 280bhp and some silly torque figure!!!(320lbft i think)...a 'fun' exhaust (sounds like WRC car bangs and pops on up changes etc)....AP brakes.....and fully adjustable suspension!!!!

Will let you try it next time!!

Every other Monaro "Specialist" Vauxhall dealer in the country start taking notes.

It's all well and good us banging on about how good Greens are on this website, but (seeing as the Birthday honours list is published today ), does Vauxhall have a reward scheme for its dealers? Perhaps an e-mail address where we can write and tell them our views?

I for one, am an advocate of mutual back scratching. Greens, you look after us, perhaps we can (apart from giving you our hard earned money, again & again!)look after you?

Perhaps you are just happy with our repeat custom?

I really do appreciate all the comments, but being part of the product and community, and just dealing with genuinely enthusiastic people is worth the attention you guys are afforded.

Roll on 30th July!!
