push in or pull out

In the passenger foot well you have the 2 water pipes that go to the heater matrix.........
on the bottom pipe that comes from the servo and valve (hot or cold) as it turns to go under dash and centre consol there is a plunger on the end that must open or close a valve to the matrix.......
My question is if pushed in is the valve open or is it open when pulled out??????????
reason being i didnt make enough visual notes when replacing the carpet set in the car
since then i have been out for a few short blasts and the car seems to be getting up to temp quicker than normal.
CAN POST SOME PIC's WHEN GET HOME

Don't know, mine appears to have a different arrangement with a circular valve assembly.

I know this won't help, but mine is a 92 Pre Cat at doesn't have that arrangement either. In fact if you search my answers I posted a pic of the valve I have not so long ago.

cheers anyhow, i did do a search before i posted the thread and have seen the piccys of you valve which i also have, it is in line on the bottom hose above the battery before the plunger.
maybe it's a one off

Not got one on my car either. Maybe TVR ran out of standard 90 deg elbows that day?...

either that or they had some bits left over from the new tiolet block
