Finally got car sorted... bought new steel rotors for car after pccb saga... have to say the brakes are unreal now compared to pccb.. so much more feel and bite... i fitted pagid yellows 29s... !!! Stopping power has been hugely improved.... !!learnt the hard way that porsche pccb sucks in both replacement price and performance...!!

Did you buy the Porsche steel discs?? If so don't track the car as you'll be back to Porsche again in a hurry for a new set. And at £900 a pop that's no joke. Alcons/Brembo's are the way to go.

yep, agreed PCCB's are crap in every way.

I love my alcons, they look good, feel good and by golly they do you good.

What will happen to the Porsche steel rotors? Do they warp and/or crack?

warp and wear, never had any actually fail due to the cracks, i replace them because of judder and the face is no longer flat enough to put a new pad in.

Is that just the fronts or do they warp/wear alround? How much are the alternative rotors?

The rears last much much longer, generally about four times.

Set of Alcons for GT2 including special bells and new pads was around £1500,

but replacement disks are cheaper not sure how much yet.

Rears i believe are about £600 because you can use the existing bells.

I have not worn mine out yet so cannot give you a comparison with porsche steels which i have used many. So far Pad and disk wear is probably less than half of what i am used to
