have you tried the normal - unplug the box in the boot (that controls doors etc) give it 30 secs - plug it in, and see if that works as a rest?

OK, a sensible answer then, looking at the wiring diagram the door poppers and the electric windows are driven from the same ecu, Where is the click coming from the fusebox or the door?
The fact that there is a click tells you that there is no problem with the buttons them selves, the fact that the window works ok from the buttons tells you that all of the window wiring is fine. There appears to be no other external influences that would effect only one door. Check the supply voltage and the earth to the ecu is OK, other than that I draw the conclution that it is the control ECU.
If you wanna pop the pasenger door manually (again from the wiring diagram) look for Blue/White & Blue/yellow wires next to each other on a connector on the control ecu(B4 B5 on J48 circuit ref)these are the supply wires to the door actuator so if you disconnect them from the ecu then apply +12v to one wire and 0v to the other momenterally then the door should pop (if it dosent then reverse polarity)it may be worth having a 1a fuse in line just incase the actuator is at fault.

You could try taking the passenger side rear pannel off, or just pull it back enough to get your hand in, then you could get to the back of the door mechanism to realese it by hand some how.
once open you can then get the pannel off to check the plugs etc.
not done this myself but just thought it my be another approach for you.

There is a sensor switch inside the door that basically says to the control ecu 'The window is low enough' sounds like this may be shorted so the door may be trying to open and the window is still up, sounds feasable? (youve proberbly already tried it) but try opening the door with the window down. But it does sound like something has gone amiss inside the door, you may have to take the door card off while the door is shut. I had to do this once on my 5 door astra Sri, it got struck by lightning outside my house and all the c/locing motors welded themselves shut, had to get in througt the boot then remove tall he door cards with the doors closed,then snip the linkage rods, an absolute b'stard of a job.
