I guessed this may happen. Whats the trick again because its not releasing?

Does anyone want to try and help me fix it tomorrow, is it easy to fix?

Mine has always needed a hand to lift the bonnet while pulling the release lever.

Apparently you can adjust the spring in the catch.

I'll bring a spanner!

I had this on both my Tam & T350. The lever just went slack, so it was a dealer job. Took them only 5 minutes. You may get the bonnet up with a gentle pull if the catch is partially disengaged, otherwise best left alone.

Don't know about the Tam, but on the 350 you can get your hand in a bopnnet vent and pull the cable. This releases the bonnet. You have to pull the bonnet at the same time.

Hey Bigman - that's the sort of info you should put on a PM isn't it? Wouldn't want anyone knowing how to get to your speed 6 motor!

My lever's all floppy, and I need pliers to get it up .

Feels like the lever on the steering column is detached from the cable, but I'd be interested to know which bit needs replacing.
