Handbrake problem

Hi guys,

The other day, the handbrake knob on my 4200 CC started to get stuck. A pain in the *$@. Can be released (and thus the handbrake engaged) by moving the steel wire (accessing the handbrake shaft once you move the leather cover) but not ideal, as you can guess . Tried to lube it with WD40, pops-out a bit easier, but not enough (needs manual intervention).

Anyone knows how to deal with this one, or has ever had a problem with the handbrake on the 4200?
