Mines John Terry,he's helped make our defence a solid unit and the reaction save he made V T&T just showed how Super fit he has kept himself for this competition,plenty of commitment.

I'd be inclined to agree (and never thought that much of him prior to this competition thus far).

I was impressed with Lennon when he came on too.

Don't think many others have played as well as they should have so far.

He loks a very exciting prospect for the future and the type of player we need in this competion to put more pressure on the opposition,its just a shame we didnt take SWP too.

Terry has done well, but Gerrard has done a lot of work off the ball.

Lennon also has impressed.

But they have only played two games and I will reserve judgement until knock out stages.

Gerrard's been one of themost solid England players for a while now. I actually think he should be captain (strong, hard working, always in the right place to be directing traffic etc).

John Terry for me. He has played very well in a team which has so far been less than top notch. Gerrard has been his usual self with lots of running and good passes thrown in.
