Well according to Stig's training regime in the new Top Gear Winter Olympic DVD thingy (a fathers day pressie - better than socks I'd say) an 05 Monaro VXR is used as part of his one day a week of drifting action..

Seriously though, the actual segment is about 2 mins long, brilliantly filmed and show's just how highly regarded the car is by the Top Gear mob.

I didn't know that this bit about the VXR was on the DVD, but it was a nice surprise. The actual Olympic thing is also quite funny. At least I didn't have to sit through the Eastender's omnibus..

Well as long as it wasn't my ex Press car he was ragging, I'm happy!!

I've already got to put up with the vision of Hammond thrashing my baby around the track (Top Gear Reved Up DVD)... The Stig would be just too much!
