Yes, got up at 10am yesterday morning and finally slept at 6 tonight, I tell a lie, I caught 45 minutes at about 3am. I was watching Motors TV excellent coverage and communicating with the Team Flying Lizard pits by email!

Next year I'll be back in the flesh.

Stayed up till about 2am and fell asleep to sound of cars tearing down the track and also audi rs4's drifting round the karting track...

got back up at 7am.... nothing like getting up to the sun coming up to the sound of hard core race engines at full pelt.

Managed to stay uyp till 6am before calling it a day and then back up at 10am. Driving out to Arnage helped as did a few trips on Le Big Wheel! Best time of the day to watch the racing. Cooler and a lot less people about!

Stayed awake from 10.00 Saturday morning until 01.00 Monday morning.....as I started to fall asleep in my soup on the bot home. just under 40 hours in total. Still sleepy now.

During Saturday I watched from start finish area, round to Tetre Rouge and back along the inside of the track. Then early evening at the campsite, Karting Nord. Midnight onwards at Arnage. For sunrise at Mulsanne and then onto Prosche curves. Popped into Arnage village for early morning coffee and then back to Karting Nord.

Spot of breakfast and then back up to the start finish area until the end of the race. track invasion for the podium presentation.

My 5th Time @ Le Mans and finally achieved a full 24 Hours. Watching from just 30yds from the Dunlop Bridge. Loadsa thrills and spills as we looked back towards the end of the start/finish straight. Shower facilities (even at a cost) at the track would be much appreciated.

Chris.

There is a very interesting drug available on prescription from your doctor called Modafinil. The branded PC names are Modalert and Provigil. Early US military trials to create more vigilent soldiers led to the development of the drug. This was overtly folled by FDA trials in the treatment of Narcolepsy.

The good news is it passed all tests 10 years ago. There are no sleep deprivation effects unlike amphetmine or ephadrine based drugs or substances.

Ask your doctor - common cause for prescription is working across time zones and wokring long hours - he or she should prescribe after a few questions.

Join the ACO, CRB 1 and you get showers etc in their stand opposite pits, air con, opportunity of grandstand seat.Cold beer(if the coolers are working)very poor this year though!!Discount tickets and official merchandise, breakdown cover, race packs, results and timings all sent through all for 70 euros. Not bad,and no I don`t work for them.(see other threads).
