After spending some time looking into all this TVR business I think I would like an S series.

My problem is that at the moment I own a Mercedes C class (similar really) - so is there anyone out there who would consider a part exchange I think my car is worth about £8000.

Congratulation on your choice, it is indeed the way forward.

£8000 could get you a dealer S, somewhere like Adrian Blyth for example (although they had no S's on the website today), as they're more likely to take the exchange.

Your best best is to sell the C Class privately, as you'll get more for it, then hunt for a good private S though, with inspection of course.
