Ok, so I have a shed load of bugs on the front of me bike. Washed it, but to no avail, as most of the little critters seem to have embedded themselves pretty well. Any ideas of what to buy?

Cheers.

ps - Tip of the day.....Don't use T-Cut!! Well, you live and learn eh??!!

A tea towel soaked in hot water draped over the fairing for a few minutes before you wash it works wonders. Just soak the little buggers off.

Have you tried the wet tea-towel trick, just run it under hot water and leave on the bike then after an hour or so the flies should just wash off

Yeah. I left the leather drapped accross the front, and "watered" it every 20 mins or so. This did the trick for most, but there are loads that have kinda left an imprint. Make any sense?!!

Cheers.

Yup. You could try Zymol HD cleanse to get the remnants off then a good Zymol waxing. It's soo slippery the little buggers can't get a hold when you splat them. Not cheap, but it works.

Try VERTAR, they sell all the Zymol stuff.

I just use the 'muck off' stuff which seems to do the trick (although I have Zymol for the cars. Good stuff indeed).

T-Cut is way too harsh. Zymol HD Clense applied in straight lines only should be all you ever need.

My old man uses this on his 911 and really rates it.

thought T-cut worked best on metal/paint not bikes paint on plastic which is much softer. I bought one of those sponges from Halford that claim to remove bugs. Will a little effort and elbow grease they come off. Not sure if it is sponge or elbow grease doing it, but either way SV is bug free (well 'till I next ride to work)

How many flys would there be if we didn't drive cars/bikes etc?
