The time has come.

Until now, I have happily let my 6-year-old daughter use the PC, mainly to play on the CBeebies website, happy in the knowledge that she doesn't know how to get into anything else.

However, this weekend she suddenly said "can I go on Google?". Now she doesn't exactly know what Google is, but she knows she can use it to find interesting things, and there are certain interesting things I don't want her to find!

Does anyone have any experience of the following?

Google SafeSearch feature.
Internet Explorer Content Advisor.
Various "Net Nanny" software packages.

Recommendations?

Safesearch is pretty clever.

IE controls are a bit lacking and all the netnanny type packages are much of a muchness...

Best to use all 3 in conjunction
