Just a note about my friendly OPC i have some gaps in the records of invoices from this OPC.They told me they had a new computor system fitted and there is no access to any previous job numbers, parts or invoices,its all gone!I called them up two weeks ago about the history and they said they could not discuss the history as it was covered by data protection and it was not my car then!So now i have been told my only chance of anything is to find and ask the two previous owners to write to the OPC to let them know i have their permission to get this information.I am sure life used to be a lot more simple!There was however a brand new 911 turbo in the window which looked quite nice ,and a guy offered to zymol my car for me for £300.He said the wax he uses costs £1500!!! I am sure it does ,dont see the point though i love waxing my car.

The data protection act is there to protect personal information about people. I am sure that it doesn't apply AT ALL to the service history of motor vehicles. What a load of bollox!

I called OPC Reading on Friday and confirmed the entire history of a car I've just bought

Well i thought they could have been more helpful,i doubt they will be seeing my car for its service.I dont think they are that bothered, they could not be arsed to even look at me when i was stood in front of their desks a receptionist had to come over to tell them i was stood there...The ignorant pricks!
