Prompted by a discussion i recently had; what would the consequences be of impersonating a candidate on a driving test in order to get them a license? I'm talking in terms of the charge + penalty. Please note that neither of us have done this, just something i would be interested to hear about.

They check your photo licence before they start the test. Thus to pull it off you would need an identical twin or to falsify a driving licence to start with. That offence is probably more documented.
