Did anyone else get stopped at the Paege by Customs?!

We had been on the road for a while, from Calais, just picked up our peage ticket and then customs come over and search all three of us and our cars for drugs... better still they told us that they were just doing it to raise some money... bloody french!!

These customs guys didnt have much of a sense of humour... until he found our stash of porno mags in the door pocket and then proceeded to p1ss himself laughing... anyway, let us go after 15 mins... so if anyone saw my red beemer being stopped us three guys being frisked... that was us!!

Yep, one of our party of 3 cars was stopped and searched by Customs. They were apparently very friendly after one the group cobbled together some pigeon French and they let us on our way.

More annoying was that one of our group was taken off by a Gendarme for pulling up after a toll booth to wait for the rest of us (max of about 30 secs!). Because he pulled over on the left and not the right (even though it would have actually been more dangerous to pull across 10 lanes!) he was fined 35 euros! Not a huge financial burdon but it meant we missed our ferry as it took about 45 mins to complete the paperwork...

The Foosa and I got stopped and swabbed for bombs as usual, but not for drugs which was lucky as we had a cooler box full of pharmaceuticals.

Didn't get stopped as such, but some customs officer wiped my dash for me (plenty of dust there then) as we went through customs at the tunnel

we got stopped at the first peage and searched for "narcotique", knocking on all the panels and generally snooping about.

got stopped by gendarmerie a few time down there and once on the way back at customs.

We got stopped be the customs too. Just pulled me out of a group of five of us.
Just searched us and the car, then let us go after bout five mins

Yup, at the same booth apparently. Just a routine thing though and they seemed to like a bit of "Del boy" French.
