Norton? Email? Can anyone help?
Discussion
I send/receive over 1000 emails per month, so its very frustrating when outlook express sends an email, norton seems to take it and send it as normal, but for some reason outlook express gives a "send failed" message and the message remains in my outbox.
1) The emails get sent repeatedly which is as frustrating for me as it is for clients
2) If I delete them from the outbox, sent emails go into the deleted folder which prevents me from finding them when I search for emails in the sent folder, which I do all the time.
Fecking headache it is too.
Just started happening recently when I emailed someone dozens of very big files. Dont want to stop using OE or Norton, but I do want to fix the problem, which is intermittent.
Any suggestions at all?

you dont want to stop using Norton?! Why?!?! I'd rather have no protection on my PC at all than that POS, especially when there are free programs out there that do a better job (i.e. actually seem to stop the virus before it destroys your PC, rather than helpfully telling you after the fact)
Step 1. Download AVG AntiVirus or Avast or ZoneAlarm Security Suite ($49.00 well spent)
Step 2. Uninstall Norton
Step 3. Destroy any Norton CD's and go online to find out how to COMPLETELY remove Norton.
Step 4. Install any one of the above AntiVirus programs.
Step 5. Grab a
and relax knowing everything is finally safe on your PC
