Just back from LeMans and now need some new rear tyres. Am driving just a 996 C2 on 17" rims and looking for advice on what to get. currently have continental sport contacts but have had a couple of instances of aqua-planing so lost a little confidence in them.

What would the experts recommend (dont need to be suitable for track, just general day to day driving)? any suggestions on sourcing (live in central london) would be appreciated too.

cheers guys

Aren't the assimetricos the rear tyres? Thought you'd have directionali on the front?

Nop, you can use assimetricos all around for better dry grip. It says on the tin.

Best tyre for Porsche in 17' is the S0-2 Pole Position (not the S0-2A) hands down.
