GTR Gaz ,Phil and myself attended a large country show held at Kimbolton school last year and it was a great event ending up with gary and phil doing laps around the main arena for all the public to see . Would be a great opportunity for us all to get together its easy to get to and a very large event with plenty to do here is the website www.countryfayre.info/
Is anyone interested ? if so let me know .
I think there is camping for the saturday night as well ,if we could get enough people interested the might set aside a area for us . simon

...Brampton Hut on the A14 / A1 round about.
Is that a "Pizza the Hut"? What time did you have in mind? (The Fayre opens at 11.30am)
Gaz, what's the deal with parking?
I see lots of spots for classic cars on the map, do we have our own space or just like Helmingham, make one? If so I vote for a tree shaded spot!
The journey takes approx 20-25 mins from the Brampton Roundabout going through Spaldwick and Stow Longa. I am guessing that we would want to be there at approx 11.00? to get the cars set up on their pitch? Agree shady tree area would be good if possible.
Maybe want a cuppa and a meet / greet / chat before we go? McD's? So aould suggest 10.00am meet in the McD's car park at the Brampton Roundabout. Leave at 10.30 for Kimbolton.
I am going to have to recky the route as I had some problems with country lanes at the weekend. I have a dropped floorpan and it bottomed out. Not a pleasant sound at 60 (ish!!!!).

Parking was very well organised last year. As long as we arrive together, we should be able to park together.
It got very busy getting in, so the earlier we get there the better.
Brampton Hut is probably the best meeting point. The Travel Inn (or whatever hotel it is) car park is the best bet.
Parked in the shade last year too!
Edited to add: Just read Scuffs last post.
We went down the A1 to Buckden and then headed towards Grafham Water. No problems with the country lanes there!

Agree that this would be a better route, smoother and faster than the country lane crossing through Spaldwick and Stow Longa. Meet in the Travel Inn Hotel car park, Brampton at 10.00am.
Excuses up front...
Please excuse me if I look a little jaded as I am at the Beer and
Wine Society Annual BBQ the day before. I will be there, at Brampton, without fail but will try not to be late, plus GF is also coming with.

Hi one and all - count me in - if you have room for a little one!!
So are we meeting at 9.30 at B/Hut? Hotel carpark is the bigger and better one to meet in - McD's is small and often busy - weather looks good for Sunday so should be a cracking day!!
See you there..
Rob.
