Despite the apparent dearth of decent motors in and around the Leicester area, the law of averages dictates that there must be some PHers here somewhere!

So, what do you drive and where?

I'm in the Glenfield (home) and city centre (work) areas in my 'Y' reg. blue MR2 Roadster. You'll recognise me because I'll always have the roof down when it's not raining - regardless of the temperature - much to my wife's disdain!

Give me a wave and I'll reciprocate...

I live just outside Glenfield really (off Scudamore Rd near the Western Park golf course) but I often pass through there as my wife works at the Mill Lane industrial estate and I drop her off. We tend to shop there etc. too and have the odd meal/bevvy at the Forge!

Hi Adycav, I'm about 5 miles from you, and may just go to the Brant tonight (work allowing), there should be a few classic cars and bikes there. Mainly Amercian cars tonight.

I drop my lad off in Glenfield (near CH) most mornings, in either a red TVR V8S, a red S2, a blue MG ZS or a green Saxo (variety is the spice of life). Cheers, Dave

I work in Groby so pretty near Glenfield. I drive a yellow Scimitar GTC, green BMW 740 or a silver BMW 628.

Me neither! It's amazing what happens on your doorstep. I might pop down later then.

There's quite a lot on really. There's one a month at Stoney Cove, something at Stoughton too. There's an event in Birstall 2/7 (Cars on the Park, part of the Gala?) and the Oakham Carnival on 2/7. Oh, and I think there's something in Melton on (some) Friday evenings. I'll try and find some more specific details and post again in a few days. Ashby Folville 2TOTM is by far the biggest though.

There's also the bikes at the Durham Ox (Six Hills) on Tuesdays and all sorts at The Victoria in Coalville which has its own website. Dave.

Hi Blaine, I think it's once a month and is a week after Ashby Folville (Tues or Weds I think). I'll try and find out some details. I don't think many people go, but the settings great.

I drove to the Brant last night just to make sure I wasn't giving duff info. Only stopped for 10 mins but there were more than 20 American cars (2 Vipers, Corvette, Strectched pink Cadillac, 2 Hot Rods etc) and a few bikes. Dave

Yeah, I went too but it was quite late (been out for some food with the missus!). I saw all the motors that you mentioned though. Had a bit of a chat with a couple of the blokes there. All in all it was well worth popping down. Thanks again for the info Dave.

I'll keep my eyes and ears peeled for anything local and post anything interesting on here.
