Hello all, I'm after a bit of advice. I'm off to look ay a C4 996 at Northway Porsche in Reading this week and just wondered what I should look out for. I currently have an Exige S2 which is a fantastic car but with the arrival of my 1st little one last Christmas Eve it's time to get a car with at least some kind of rear seat. I've had 7 Lotus so moving to Porsche will be quite a departure for me, but I can think of no other car that fits the bill.
The car looks great, on Northway web site, its ocean blue with grey leather aero kit and sports exhaust. Does anyone on here no the car and has anyone had any experience with Northway, they seem OK.
Thanks for your help guys.
Andy

Have a look in the boot, it's much smaller in a C4. A C2 may be a better bet on the grounds of practicality if you want to lug the mountains of kit around that you need with a little un.

Got a C4 cab myself. This may sound sad but a good bit of advice. The only buggy that you'll fit in the boot is a Quinny Zapp, it just squeezes in with enough room for a gnats cock either side!

Got a C2 as the main family car with a two and a four year old. No way that could happen with a C4.

C2 as your family car?! V impressive.

Is the boot that much bigger? Only looked at the boot after I bought my C4.

Yes, it's much bigger. I put the travel cot behind the rear seats, and bought a cheap maclaren buggy that's also small enough to go behind the rear seats.

Have now been away for five nights in it, even with my wife 'packing' it all fits in the boot easily.

You slept in it for 5 nights?! Strange!

Mine is a cabriolet too so no room whatsoever!

Yep, I sleep in one of the door pockets.

It was the intention to buy a 'family car' after I got the Porker, didn't need to in the end.
