Helmet "Whispers"??

Morning all,
I'm not sure what they're called, but a mate has this "thing" that fits onto your helmet and basically stops the airflow from rushing into your eyes. Does anyone know what they're called, and where I can get one from? Getting tired of crying me eyes out for 2 hours a day!!

ps - Avoid the black strips of tarmac on the roads when they're wet...Scared the hell outta me this am!!

Spain was quality cheers. Didn't like the mountain roads, due to my fear of heights, but the other roads were superb. Cars love bikers, and get out ofthe way ALL the time, even the police. And I managed to get rid of all the chicken strips on the rear!! Still can't get used to living out of a tiny bag for a week....Things started to smell!!!

Chilli, out of interest what tyres are on your R6 as I have just changed to Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's on my 2005 R1 and they are by far the best road tyre I have used, they warm up very quickly and are great in the wet. I have had 4 sets of tyres now on the R1 in 14 months.

I've recently put Diablo's on, and they feel ok. However, not sure I'd know a good set from a bad one! It's only my inability that lets me down!!

tell me more about these new CT's? Ive tried the original pilot power (not sport?) and they were grippy, took a little tiny bit longer to get to temp, but didnt have trouble not being up to temp on casual riding for example.
But I stopped using them after struggling to get 2500 miles out of them.

Not quite. This one my mate has literally only covers the front gap, from helmet to neck, and kinda tucks up inside the helmet padding. I could always ask her again!!
Don't know about the ct2's....But quite fancy them now. However, if all i'm doing is commuting, will I benefit from them?

I've had the 2CT's on my 2005 R1 for 3,200 miles, which included a trip to the French Alps and since then 1,400 miles commuting to work. I've just got back from the tyre shop that fitted them and one I have been using for 5 years (Essential Rubber in Dalston, East London) and the guy who owns the shop was very impressed with the 2CT's. He said the front is hardly worn and the rear is probably good for another 1,500 to 2,000 miles and only then he said to just change the rear. Also the Pirelli/Metzler rep was there and he had a good look at the 2CT's and was also quite impressed, however, he did show me the new Pirelli Diablo Corsa III as it's called that Pirelli have made to compete with the 2CT.
The 2CT's have excellent dry grip and warm up very quickly also the wet grip is better (in my opinion) than the Diablo Corsa's but this may be due the the old Diablo Corsa havng no silica in the compound. I have always used Diablo Corsas on my bikes but now its 2CT's all the way.

Chilli, the 2CT's are dual compound tyres , 2CT is '2 Compound Technology'. the centre of the tyre is roughly 20% harder than the sides, so therefore, you will probably benefit as the centre of the tyre will last longer and believe me the 2CT is a better tyre than the normal Pirelli Diablo and I would also say better than the Diablo Corsa, obviously I don't know about the Diablo Corsa III as this is just out and and not available in 190 section rear for a week or so. I will however be trying a set of the new Corsa III's once I've had another rear 2CT on the bike and worn both that and the front.
